Our client, a regionally focused organization is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to fill the position of Administrative Assistant at its Secretariat located in Saint Lucia.
Key Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the management team. The successful candidate will ensure the effective coordination of administrative functions, contribute to project delivery, and support the smooth running of the Secretariat and its oversight bodies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Perform general administrative duties to support the daily operations of the Secretariat.
- Perform routine accounting functions, including preparing reports and financial documentation.
- Provide direct executive / administrative support to head of the organization
- Plan and coordinate logistics for meetings of the organization
- Support and coordinate projects to ensure timely delivery and reporting.
- Work closely with other Secretariat staff to ensure business continuity and effective workflow.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A BSc degree in Business Administration or associated field or An Associate Degree with least five (5) years’ experience in an executive assistant or administrative support
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated competence in accounting, and preparation of financial reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks and other business productivity tools.
- Ability to exercise discretion, maintain confidentiality, and work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a regional and multicultural environment.
